Cooking, entertaining, art, interior design and space improvement projects, as well as reading, strategy board games with a house full of friends and food, and gardening all captivate her interests. In 2021, Szablis also founded Southeast Scuba Escape, a Scuba supply, technician, education, and travel shop built to bring the joy found under the ocean to those who may not normally get to see it.
SHE DISCOVERED THAT INDIVIDUALS DESIRED HONEST ANSWERS, PERSONAL ATTENTION, AND ACCESS TO EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES TO HELP THEM FEEL INFORMED AND IN CONTROL.
In the office, Szablis is a power house. Since founding Full Circle Financial in 2008, she has been non-stop in providing exceptional service to clients, prioritizing their best interests and open communication, conversational and plain-English education, and genuine concern for their comfort and care. To further her service to her clients, Szablis manages and recruits advisors and staff that also hold these values.
Szablis is registered with United Planners, a nationally recognized securities broker/dealer which is registered with Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and the Securities Investor Protection Corporation (SIPC). She is registered to practice in multiple states. Szablis is an Investment Advisor Representative, Registered Securities Principal, and General Securities Registered Representative, She is also licensed by the State of Minnesota as a Life, Accident and Health Insurance Agent.
Having worked in the financial industry since 1998, Szablis got her start at Offerman & Company, a broker/dealer based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where she received professional training, passing multiple industry registration and licensure examinations, and gained a deep understanding of the processes that happen after the client and advisor have shaken hands.
Promoted quickly into management, she worked to develop and refine the practices of advisors in bank branches and in independent offices. Szablis worked directly with abandoned client accounts when advisors left the firm, interfacing directly with clients. Szablis quickly developed a passion for helping individuals understand the impact their financial decisions have on the quality of their lives.
Szablis accepted a position as Senior Vice President and Director at a large bank’s investment headquarters based in St. Paul, Minnesota where she worked to further develop and improve the advice, products and service experiences of the bank’s investment customers. It was here where it became evident that advisors experienced a nagging inability to truly serve clients' best interests at a personal level while beholden to the institution's interests and prescribed products.
She discovered that individuals desired honest answers, personal attention, and access to educational resources to help them feel informed and in control. It appeared that there was a disconnect between what larger institutions' interests and the clients'. She determined this was her opportunity to make a real difference; to provide a unique and meaningful service to individuals and families as a personal financial advisor. Many of the core principles and practices upon which Full Circle Financial is founded have their roots in these experiences and observations from the beginning of her career.
In 2005, she established a private practice to reduce conflict of interest to clients. In 2008 Full Circle Financial was formed, and along the way has gathered financial planners who approach their practices with a focus on the client's best interest ahead of all else. Over time, the practice has grown to include multi-disciplinary specialists and now includes offices across the Midwest, with clients all over the country. Now, more than ever, people need help navigating the risks and rewards of growing and protecting their wealth. Clear communication, a conversational, plain-English style of education, and genuine concern for the comfort and care of her clients are hallmarks of her practice. Szablis finds great satisfaction in her work striving to provide this experience to her valued clients.
